Retail and Commerce are Building in Fort Atkinson
Creamery Building Offers Space and Growth for Businesses

FORT ATKINSON, Wis. – Bedroom communities are growing across the Midwest. Former rural hubs are now becoming suburban epicenters. Fort Atkinson is seeing that type of growth, positioned in the busy center of Madison, Milwaukee and Waukesha. New industries are looking at the city. More families are making Fort Atkinson their home. Additional retailers and service-type businesses will need to accommodate this growing population.

The Creamery Building has seen this need and has undertaken a major renovation to an existing landmark in the Fort Atkinson downtown area. By working with an existing structure, the development maintains character while providing state-of-the-art facilities for business. As this project nears completion, it will be a perfect time for business owners and retailers to look at their future space within the Creamery Building. Offering over 15,000 square feet per floor in the main building and over 10,000 square feet per floor in the North Building it is easy to see the potential. Various types of business have the opportunity now to have raw space fitted to their needs. Established space may not be able to accommodate the needs of a restaurant, technology company or gallery.

Fort Atkinson is a small town with big ideas. The area takes pride in their top-scoring schools and fully accredited medical facility. Life in “Fort” means solid values, a strong work ethic and small-town decency, but as a growing community, it also means a diverse workforce, above-average median incomes and industrial expansion. Careful and consistent planning has allowed Fort Atkinson to enjoy steady growth while maintaining small-town comfort. The Creamery Building facilitates this planned growth and highlights the strong commercial future of the area.
